Thank you for your survey participation, the updated App version is now available!

Thank you for your survey participation, the updated App version is now available! Here are the new features:

1. New Keyword Search:

Apart from using keywords to search routes via “Browse” (bottom left menu), you can now search your routes in your Dashboard. This is a great feature for those of you who have many hiking records, and / or have many routes you plan to go on and want to have an easy way to document them!

2. New Login Option (for iOS user only)

Other than Facebook or email, Apple accounts can now be used to login to the TrailWatch App; however, please be reminded that using an Apple account to login will create a new TrailWatch App account. So if you are an existing TrailWatch user, it will seem like you have “lost” your records, but in fact, all uploaded routes and photos remain in your previous account.

3. New Point of Interest subcategories for planning

Want to mark the facilities or “check-in” spots while planning your route? You can try “Set as Point of Interest” to mark the location even without a photo.

For route tracking, new markers that have been added include Religious, Drinking Fountain, Fern, Reptile and Amphibian, Path Condition and a series of Wheelchair Friendly markers.

4. Useful First Aid Tips

How can you deal with unexpected situations while hiking? The TrailWatch App now not only has emergency numbers, but some simple useful information is now included, such as “Hiking First Aid Dos And Don’ts” which gives you a basic understanding about heat stroke, sprains, cramps, blisters, bee stings or snake bites. Please note that this information is not a professional first aid guide and is only provided for general reference in the event of an emergency, we advise to seek help by calling emergency services. Hikers can also take certified first aid courses.

5. Updated FAQ

Having problems for login? Seeing straight lines during route tracking? FAQ can help you!
