Hike & Seek: TrailWatch 5th Anniversary Exhibition was opened on the 7th of November 2019!
The Opening Reception was attended by many guests from the hiking community, as well as representatives from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and partner organisations of TrailWatch.
Freshly prepared Tofu Pudding from Sister Lin of Tai Mo Shan
Mr But Ho Ming, Trustee of WYNG Foundation and Fiona Ching, Project Director of TrailWatch shared with guests the development of TrailWatch in the past 5 years.
Matthew Kwan, Curator, and AK Kan, Sound Engineer of the exhibition, explained to the guests the concept behind the exhibition design.
Curated by Artist Matthew Kwan, Hike & Seek: TrailWatch 5th Anniversary Exhibition showcased the photos of over 60 users of TrailWatch taken over the past 5 years. Visitors to the exhibition will also see a projected map of hiking trails and mountains of Hong Kong, installation of rare species, sound recording of countryside of Hong Kong and also a selection of literature of nature. The exhibition opens daily until 1 December, 2019 from 12noon to 7pm (except for Mondays). See you there!
