TrailWatch as Green Partner at Charitable Fundraising Hiking Events
TrailWatch連續第四年成為環保觸覺慈善籌款活動「綠步郊野2019」之綠色伙伴，也首次成為香港融樂會為響應聯合國訂立的「國際消除種族歧視日」將舉辦「融樂行2019」之支持團體。兩個慈善籌款行同日於2019年3月24日舉行。
「綠步郊野2019」鼓勵市民關注自然環境，亦希望可加強大眾的保育意識，同時為慈善團體環保觸覺籌募經費，以推展保育工作。步行籌款的路線由愉景灣出發，登上老虎頭山頂觀景台，環顧大嶼山巍峨氣勢，及後於梅窩銀礦灣瀑布公園完結，全程約10公里。歡迎有遠足經驗的朋友參加。
「融樂行2019」希望與市民一起，支持少數族裔兒童獲得公平教育的權利，以及可以同時支持其消除種族歧視的工作。活動由灣仔石水渠街，漫步至香港仔水塘，與少數族裔的朋友們一同欣賞香港的水塘風光。

Green Sense Charity Hike 2019 marks the fourth consecutive year where TrailWatch is a green partner of this annual fund-raising hiking event organised by Green Sense. This year, TrailWatch is also a supporting organisation of Unison Hike 2019 for the first time. This hike is a charitable fundraising event responding to the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination established by the United Nations. Both events will be held on the same day on March 24th, 2019.
Charity Hike 2019 aims to enhance environmental awareness amongst the general public. The fund being raised will support the conservation work of Green Sense, a registered NGO. The charity hike kicks off at Discovery Bay and will pass by several checkpoints including Lo Fu Tau Lookout Pavilion, where you can enjoy the spectacular landscape of Lantau Island. The hike stretches about 10km and ends at Silvermine Waterfall Park. The difficulty level of this route is advanced, experienced hikers with proper gear are preferred.
Unison Hikathon 2019 is organised by Hong Kong Unison, a charity that has been working unceasingly on advocating education equality for ethnic minorities children and on elimination of racial discrimination. The hikathon departs from St. Jame’s Settlement Headquarters, Stone Nullah Lane in Wan Chai and will make a detour around the scenic Aberdeen Reservoirs before returning to Wan Chai. On this day, you will have the opportunity to mingle with hikers of different ethnicity.
